| 2025 was a year. Summing up 2025 into words is probably beyond me, but I’m going to try. Highest lows. Lowest lows. I lost my mom in September, and the last few months have been disorienting to say the least. This has been the most successful year of my career, itself hard to grasp. Not all of it has been great. The farther you go down one path in publishing, the further you get from others and the people you once traveled with. I am very grateful for all the support, kindness, and love this year. I did eighteen shows in 2025. I’ll probably do twenty or twenty-five next year. I’d like to, let’s put it that way. Twenty-five is a lot. I’m also going to stretch my wings a little bit and do a show (or two) outside the Midwest. I released one book this year, Dead Malls. One book a year is pretty good. Astra Idari Taker of the Dawn was meant to be 2025, but fell behind along with a lot of things. 2026 is Idari’s year, no worries, and there’ll be another book, too. Eververse Book 5 is coming, but I’ve been wrestling with it. Probably too long. I started writing it in 2021. It’s old enough for preschool. Time to fly. Thanks again for all the support. Time to fly. |
